Hilltop Cabins

Hilltop Cabins was built in the 1940's as a hunting camp.  We have tried to keep the Upper Peninsula rustic charm while providing modern amenities.  Each accommodation is unique, some have water views and others have forest views.  Miles of beaches start just a short walk down the hill.

We are a veteran owned, male and female owned, a family owned and operated business.  We live here full-time and love everything about the Hilltop Cabins and our area that we call home.

Welcome to Hilltop Cabins in Grand Marais, Michigan, Your Destination for a "Superior" Vacation. We have seven large and small cabins, five motel rooms, and a house.  Some accommodations have wonderful views of the bay, some accommodations have forest settings only.  Many cabins have their own firepits and outdoor picnic tables.  We are within walking distance to miles of beaches, and close by are hiking trails, quaint shops, museums and local-fare restaurants. 

Enjoy one of the many outdoor activities from our north central UP location, including: Sable Falls, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Tahquamenon Falls, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Au Sable Dunes and Lighthouse.  Two golf courses are within 40 minutes, as is Oswald's Bear Ranch.
